This is a publicly-available free data analysis platform that gives you real-time info about what foodies are ordering from every nook and cranny of India.

Zomato Food Trends (ZFT) analyses data from millions of transactions in India and then disseminates information in the simplest, most ‘easy to digest’ format. Interestingly, did you know that biryani, once again has been crowned the most-ordered dish on Zomato? I’m sure it’s not a surprise.

However, what is surprising is that French fries and desserts are two of the most ordered dishes in Mumbai. Folks in Aamchi With desserts, the second-most ordered cuisine in Mumbai, folks in the city have a sweet tooth compared to any other city in India. The Zomato Food Trends data reveals that unsurprisingly, chaat is the most-ordered dish in Mumbai. Followed by sandwiches, fries, fried rice and cake.

Bangaloreans Order Chicken Starters & Delhiites Order Momos
When it comes to Bangalore, chicken starter is surprisingly one of the top-5 ordered dishes on Zomato. Perhaps, it goes well with booze or adds the perfect munch amid the chilly weather. North Indian, biryani, South Indian, desserts and Oriental are the top 5 trending cuisines in the city, in the same order.

For Delhiites, absolutely love their chaat which is the most-ordered dish. This is followed by sweets, momos, sandwiches and thalis. Once again, North Indian consistently is the most-loved cuisine by folks using Zomato. Like Mumbaikars, even Delhiites have quite the sweet tooth as desserts are one of the top 5 most ordered cuisines.
