Zomato Is Testing Its Last-Mile Delivery Service In Corporate Parks

There is a long list of options and facilities provided by this food delivery platform. Now, it is all set to introduce something new and the testing process for that service is ongoing in full swing. At the moment, Zomato is conducting tests for last-mile food deliveries. According to a report by Entrackr, this is solely for employees working in corporate parks and tech parks.
In this brand-new pilot program, Zomato is working to operate smooth-running deliveries to all the specific tech and corporate parks. Zomato aims to not only deliver the food orders to the office staff on time but also save the time of the delivery agents. Many offices do not have the rule of allowing delivery agents to move ahead of the reception. Employees need to visit the reception to collect the orders. Now this last-mile delivery program can help them in getting their deliveries in their locations.
Zomato seems to be working on the trial with a few corporate parks. For the pilot programme, tests are being done in Gurugram corporate and tech parks such as Unitech Cyber Park and more. One of these micro hubs in Gurugram for the trial is getting over 100 food orders every day. With time, the number of orders is likely to rise too.

Zomato is testing its pilot program by organising micro hubs in Gurugram. As per the Entrackr report, the company arranged everything in an office area. The last-mile food delivery service begins with the delivery partners dropping off the orders, walkers picking up the specified deliveries, and delivering the packaged orders to the designated customers in their location within the office premises.
