Indians’ love for cricket is unparalleled. After cheering for our national team, it’s time to support our favourite teams in the ongoing 2024 IPL season. Amid all the matches, a cricket fan has a request to Zomato about its tape.

Cricket Fan Asked Zomato To Not Send This Specific Tape To MI Fans

Taking to the X platform, Johns. (@CricCrazyJohns) shared a picture of his Zomato order. The food package has been sealed neatly with tape.

As seen in the picture, Zomato used red tape to seal the food order packaging. The tape read, “read cricket score, not tapes”. Looks like Zomato is asking customers to watch IPL matches and read the scores of the participating teams rather than looking for what’s written on the tape. Right now, Mumbai Indians (MI) is in the last position on the points table. Adding a sarcastic twist to it, Johns humorously requested Zomato to not send this tape to fans supporting Mumbai Indians.

Some Netizens like Kohlify_18 (@18_kohlify) could not under the exact context behind CricCrazyJohns’s X post.

Cric Scenes (@ImHariom93) simplified the confusion in the comments. Zomato has used a tape asking customers to read cricket scores instead of reading the tapes.

As the Mumbai Indians team has not been able to perform their best and score an impressive total to win against the opponents, the cricket fan hilariously asked Zomato to replace the tape.

The entire country comes together to support the Men In Blue in all matches; be it bilateral series or World Cup events. No matter how much we cheer for the Indian team and cricketers, our love for them gets divided during IPL. Not only that, we become rivals of our best friends thanks to them supporting rival teams. This T20 league is no less than a festival and a massive source of entertainment for cricket enthusiasts.
