Offering special travel services to the physically challenged, Enable Travel is India’s first startup that caters to travel needs of the disabled.

What Is It?

This Indian start-up aims at making life easier for the differently abled. They wish to establish good traveling services for them so that it will be possible for the physically challenged to enjoy their vacation. It is backed by Cox & Kings and introduces itself as ‘India’s first accessible holiday specialist’.

It might seem like the market for their services is quite small considering only 1% of the Indian population is disabled, but they have been able to cater to a lot of people and put a smile on their faces.

What Do They Do?

India has a population of more than a billion, so if we’re saying that 1% of the population is categorized as ‘disabled’, nearly 10,000,000 people will be falling under the target consumer.

They provide special travel services for the differently abled individuals. They managed to garner information regarding cities, hotels and services that will be disabled-friendly. All this information is gathered across famous tourists destinations.

The people they are targeting are wheel-chair bound, deaf, blind, speech and hearing impaired.
