Rakshabandhan is just around the corner and we’re sure that you must be scratching your head with ideas to surprise your sister. Let’s try something hatke this year, shall we? Everyone’s all about the usual rakhis, presents or gifting sweets to each other. But a real brother shows his love in so many different ways. If you’re still unsure how to make it a special day for your sis, here are some tips for you –
1. Visit A Themed Eatery
You can find a few extravagant themed resto-bars and eateries in Pune. Rainforest Resto Bar in Viman Nagar has an exotic theme of waterfalls, wooden tables and tree shades. It serves the best tandoori snacks so it’s surely worth trying out. You can also check out a couple others Choki Dhani in Wagholi and Malaka Street in Viman Nagar.
2. Enjoy A Read At A Book Cafe
Waari Book cafe and Pagdandi Book cafe are phenomenal to visit with your sister. You can spend hours out there in the polite ambiance of your favorite books. Enjoy the taste of some yummy snacks along with a steaming cup of coffee whilst you’re engaged in conversation. Such an enigmatic way to spend the festival!
3. Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth
Give sweets a little bit of a twist this year. There are plenty of dessert cafes in Pune that serve lip smacking delights and give you a sinful indulgence that you won’t forget. Try out the Delish cafe in Wakad or The Flour Works in Kalyani Nagar to crave your sweet tooth and have a wonderful time.
4. Go On A Trek
Another great idea would be to spend the festival is in the arms of nature. Pune’s offers plenty of options nearby to go on a one-day trek and get back by evening. You can pick from Rajmachi fort, Lohagad fort or every Puneri’s favorite, Sinhagad fort.
5. Pick Out A Rooftop Restaurant
A meal always goes a long way. Whether you’re celebrating any occasion, celebrating it with a wholesome meal always makes it better. Try out Chingari at the Sheraton Grand for an ultimate experience of a rooftop meal. There are plenty others like Eternia Rooftop at SB road or Post 91 in Baner for a buffet and rooftop meal.
