Imagine traversing the hilly terrains of Kachin, the bustling streets of Yangon, and the borderlands of Kokang, all while seated at your favourite outlet. That’s the essence of ‘The Ten-Year Trail.’ This menu is a treasure trove of regional dishes, meticulously crafted from seven regions of Burma.
The menu is nothing short of a culinary map of Burma, filled with dishes that tell the story of each region’s unique flavours and traditions. Start your journey in Yangon with the Highway Meal Parcel, featuring steamed rice, curry, salad, and fresh herbs. Then, head to the Shan region for the Siman Thoke, a refreshing salad made with chickpea tohu shreds and raw papaya.
One dish that truly embodies the spirit of Burmese monastic life is the Kho Poong with Pebok Chet, inspired by the sustainable practices of the Bago monasteries. For a taste of Kachin’s hill tribes, dive into the Tar La Baw. It is a fermented and sun-dried bamboo broth infused with pounded ginger and basil, served with red pumpkin and rice vermicelli noodles.
Beverages And Desserts To Elevate The Experience

To complement these rich and diverse dishes, Burma Burma has introduced a selection of beverages that are as unique as the menu itself. Sip on the Mont Let Saung, a traditional Burmese cooler made with palm jaggery, coconut milk, and toasted coconut shavings, or try the Kan Lan Yay, a refreshing blend of fresh sugarcane juice with raspberry purée, lime, and nori salt.
No celebration is complete without something sweet, and Burma Burma’s dessert offerings are a true indulgence. The Burmese Milk Tea Cheesecake, infused with Burmese tea, is a dessert lover’s dream. The Burmese Tropical Fruit Pavlova and Citrus Tea Leaf offer light, fruity finishes that are both refreshing and indulgent.
Since its inception, Burma Burma has been dedicated to bringing the essence of Burma to its guests. ‘The Ten-Year Trail’ is not just a menu—it’s a culmination of countless journeys to Burma, forging bonds with local communities, and discovering hidden culinary gems.
So, whether you’re a long-time fan of Burmese cuisine or a curious newcomer, ‘The Ten-Year Trail’ promises an amazing dining experience.
