India is known as the country of pilgrim sites. The popular belief in the Hindus is that visiting these places will give them Moksha or salvation. 1. Amarnath
Amarnath is known to be the home to the cave where Lord Shiva explained to Goddess Parvati the secret of life and eternity. The snow-clad mountains and unpredictable weather here are the reason why people across the country visit this place. Shri Amarnath Shrine Board provides helicopter rides to pilgrims which have to be booked in advance so they can travel more efficiently.
2. Kedarnath
Kedarnath is known as one of the toughest pilgrim treks in India. This abode of Lord Shiva is visited by lakhs of devotees every year. Visiting this place is way easier and more comfortable after many private helicopter services became available in Uttarakhand. You can book these rides well in advance for your visit to Kedarnath.

3. Gangotri
Gangotri is one of the four most important dhams in India situated in the Indian Himalayas. The road journey to this place is super tiring and not at all easy. If you are looking for an alternative, you can go for helicopter rides. The journey shall begin from Dehradun and have a halt at Harsil where you will be guided to the shrine.

4. Vaishnodevi
Vaishnodevi is one of the most known pilgrim sites in India. The temple of the goddess is situated in a cave in Jammu Kashmir in the Trikuta mountains. The temple is at a height of 5200ft. And can be reached after a trek of 12 km from the base camp in Katra. Himalayan Heli has helicopter services available now that take you to the temple from Katra.
