Most of us have started ordering outside food now but are still sceptical about the idea of actually heading to the restaurants. While eating out isn’t much recommended now, there are some restaurants which have reopened with heightened standards of social distancing. So, if you’re longing to break the lockdown monotony and enjoy a hearty meal amid a well-decked ambience, here are 6 eateries in Delhi where you can have safe dining now:
1. Rustique, Hauz Khas
The cutesy cafe ‘cum’ eatery Rustique in Essex Farms, Hauz Khas, is encouraging its guests to maintain social distancing in the most quirky way. The eatery has an enclosed area with glass walls, and the glasses are now renovated with messages of social distancing like ‘Practise Social Distancing’, ‘Face Mask Always’ and ‘Use Mobile Pay’. Their main course comprises exotic European dishes like Stuffed Chicken Breast with Olive Red Wine and Fried Fish with Cucumber Relish.

They have opened doors now and they are strictly adhering to all the guidelines of social distancing to ensure safe dining.
Visitors will have to undergo a thermal screening at the entry point and there is a paddle sanitizer dispenser kept outside the cafe for contactless hand sanitizing. All of their employees are now wearing face shields. Inside the cafe, one needs to scan a QR code to download the Contactless dining app and order from there. Also, the eatery is using automated tea-making machines called Chai Monks.
