6 People Killed & 10 Injured In A Bus-Truck Collision In Maharashtra’s Buldhana District!

In recent years, road accidents have increased due to various reasons. It may be due to over-speeding, rash driving, alcohol, fatigue and so on. A recent one took place in Buldhana District of Maharashtra. And it resulted in death and several people incurred injuries. Read further to know details about this bus-truck collision in Buldhana.

A Bus-Truck Collision Occurred In Maharashtra’s Buldhana District!

According to the Times Of India report, a bus collided with a truck in Buldhana district in Maharashtra. It resulted in the death of six people and ten people were injured during the accident. The accident happened on the old Mumbai-Nagpur route in the district, which is more than 450 kilometres from the state capital Mumbai, close to Sindkhed Raja town.

The bus was travelling from Pune to Mehkar in Buldhana and belonged to the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation. Four bus passengers and the drivers of both cars were among those who passed away. The injured people were taken urgently to a medical facility in Sindkhed Raja town.

Another Road Accident In Maharashtra

There was another accident that took place in Amravati in Maharashtra. The SUV was struck by a speeding truck, resulting in at least five fatalities and seven injuries. Around 11 p.m. on Monday, the accident occurred on the Daryapur-Anjangaon Road in Amravati, which is around 650 km from Mumbai. The majority of victims were members of one family. They were reportedly going back to Daryapur after attending a family gathering. Moreover, injured people were rushed to the hospital immediately.

On April 14, two individuals who were travelling to Nagpur were killed in a car collision. The accident took place on Samruddhi Mahamarg close to Pimpalgaon Bahnai Village in the Nandgaon Kandeshwat tehsil, close to Amravati, and two others suffered serious injuries.

In Maharashtra, there has been a surge in the number of road accidents. In the last three years, the state has seen more than 2,000 deaths. There was a dip in related fatalities during the pandemic. However, after the lockdown, the accidents increased in 2021 and the trend continues.
