Female-only establishments came into existence so that women might feel secure in a welcoming environment. In Dubai, remarkable communities specific to women’s empowerment are growing.  But this is not just limited to one emirate; the UAE has multiple such spots reserved solely for women. So, here’s a list of women-only parks in the UAE that we’re sure you will want to check out, if you’re also a resident here in the country!

1. Al Safa Park 2

Al Safa Park in Dubai is basically divided into two sections. While Al Safa is a common space for all, and Al Safa 2 is limited to a women-only presence. Al Safa 2 nestles in the Al Wasl neighbourhood. This is truly a sanctuary right here in the middle of Dubai, making for an excellent escape from the city. Did you know this park was created back in 1975?

2. AlShareea Women & Kids Park

A charming and pleasant park reserved just for mothers and children, this park certainly warrants your visit if you live in Abu Dhabi. There are playgrounds, lush green spaces, and a gym. So, this means there’s something for everybody here. In fact, the little kid’s play area makes for an excellent space where your little ones can have a fun-filled time!

Where: Al Nabgag Street, Muwaylih, Ajban, Abu Dhabi

3. Khuzam Family Park Only For Ladies

As evident from the name, this is a park only for ladies and children. It makes for a peaceful retreat, with a safe and private space for women and families, where everyone can relax. Since this is a kid-friendly playground with swings, you will want to take your little munchkin along. You can go there to take a stroll through the park or just lounge on the grass.

4. Al Hekmah Ladies Park

Al Hekmah Park is another park for women in Ajman. In addition to a variety of restaurants, this park features a play area for children and lots of dining options. It’s a terrific option for any girl who is seeking a private place for her evening jog or walk.

5. Al Rashidiya Park

As the name suggests, Al Rashidiya Park allows families, along with women to come and spend some lovely time here. Ladies have specific days allotted where the opposite gender’s presence is not much entertained. So, for your preference, contact the park to enquire about the days. This is a popular recreational area in Ajman and covers 40 thousand square meters!

6. Jumeirah Beach Park

On Mondays and Wednesdays, the park is exclusively reserved for women and kids. With the crashing waves and sandy beaches on one side, the park truly makes for an excellent escape from the mundanity of daily life. So, gather your girl gang and explore this park.

7. Al Mamzar Beach Park

Although the beach access is free, the park entry will cost you AED5. It should be noted that this park also offers exclusive entry to women and children on Mondays and Wednesdays. With even the staff being women on these days, it truly guarantees privacy and safety!

8. Al Muntazah Ladies & Children Park

This is a park in Fujairah and can be used by only women and children. With the aim of offering them privacy, the lush green space with well-manicured grass makes for an excellent way to spend one’s time here, all amidst the beautiful natural landscape.

9. Green Belt Ladies Park

This park in Sharjah truly feels like a serene oasis in the midst of the otherwise bustling city. The specially designed lush haven is solely dedicated to women and families. Complete with vibrant green lawns, flower beds, and a slew of trees, it truly feels like a green paradise, perfect for a walk on days when the weather is good.
