They say age is just a number, and this octogenarian paraglider from Sikkim just proved it. An 82-year-old grandmother became the oldest paraglider in Sikkim after she took to the skies from a paragliding point near Raanka. The 82-year-old woman will inspire many and make Sikkim the new destination for adventure seekers. Her family and onlookers cheered for her.

The Octogenarian Took To The Skies For Six Minutes
The older adult who took to the skies from a small town situated 20 km from Gangtok, flew for nearly six minutes at an elevation of about 4,500 feet. The older adult told reporters that she said she thoroughly enjoyed the experience and loved gliding across the beautiful landscape surrounded by white clouds and the Himalayas. She had no complaints during the entire flight and flew happily in the time she was in the sky. She also added that this was not the first adventure she participated and nor is this her last. She Thoroughly Enjoyed Flying
The pilot who flew the old woman revealed that she wanted to fly for some more time, but he had already directed his glides towards the lower atmosphere and therefore could not fulfil her wish. Very interestingly, this is not the first time she engaged herself in an adrenaline rush. Five years back, Lepcha had also done scuba diving in Andaman and Nicobar.
