The Nugget Was Priced At AED 3 In Its Initial Listing
After an an intense bidding war eBay, McDonald’s’ chicken nuggets was sold for almost $100,000. The nugget was apparently shaped like a crewmate from the popular video game Among Us. This was a part of McDonald’s’ new BTS Meal. The nugget was priced at AED 3 in its initial listing on 28 May. Two days later, the price increased to AED 54,000 and thereafter increased at a rapid pace. It finally sold for AED 367,000 on Saturday, 5 June 2021.
The seller, is located in Utah, USA, and said he would freeze and air-seal the nugget, so the buyer can eat it, in case they wish to do so.
“This food product has an average expiration of about 14 days,” the seller said. However, it is not known where they are getting the information from.
BTS Collaborates With McDonald’s And Creates Special Meal For Army
The most popular band in the world with 7-members, Jin, Suga, RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin and J-Hope, have collaborated with McDonald’s to bring you a South Korean McDonald’s meal. The BTS meal is a 10-piece McNuggets, medium fries, a medium Coke, and sweet chilli and Cajun sauces inspired by menu items in South Korean McDonald’s.

The BTS Meal Will Be Available In 50 Countries
McDonald’s has collaborated with many celebrities in the past. However, this will be a worldwide collaboration, and the BTS meal will be available across 50 countries. Starting 2 June, UAE customers will be able to order the BTS Meal through the McDonald’s App, Drive-Thru and at all McDonald’s restaurants until Monday, June 28.
On this, Morgan Flatley, the chief marketing officer of McDonald’s US, said in a statement,
“We’re excited to bring customers even closer to their beloved band in a way only McDonald’s can, through our delicious food, when we introduce the BTS signature order on our menu next month.”
And if you think it is all about the meal, then you must know that meal will also come with a merch, and we can’t keep calm about it. It may be Tiny Tan toy or a BTS photo, we don’t that yet, but we are surely looking forward to the merch, which will be announced today.
