New Herbal Garden In Ghaziabad To Showcase 130 Medicinal Plants
Chandrashekhar Azad Park garden in-charge, Umesh Chandra Uttam revealed to Hindustan Times that they are preparing a proposal to open a herbal park that will showcase 130 medicinal plants. Visitors can expect to witness herbal plants like lemongrass, rosemary, thyme, tulsi, black pepper, bay leaf, aloe vera, turmeric and more. Their importance in sustaining good health and other relevant information will be provided to visitors.

The herbal garden shall sit at 2 acres in Ghaziabad’s Chandra Shekhar Azad Park. Uttam further stated to Hindustan Times that the idea behind the new herbal garden is to give the younger generation a glimpse of what these herbal plants look like, help them identify them and also understand their benefits in a detailed manner.
