A Silent Spot In Delhi With Amazing Food Is Impossible! Or Is It? Threads Café Has Been Hiding A Painting Station In Shahpur Jat!

Today we’re going to open our hearts to you with the hope that you’ll feel what we feel… about food. You all know how Shahpur Jat has kept its quarters close for many years. Even now, only real regulars really know how to manoeuvre through the endless maze of gullies and people. In this amazing transition from old to new, boutiques and cafés came up; dance workshops and photography studios invited passionate city dwellers to come and experience the Shahpur Jat vibe. A secret spot hidden somewhere in all of this has brought us solace for a while. This is our new year gift to you: we are going to tell you when leaving the city is not an option. Threads Café in Shahpur Jat has a silent spot inside. Few know of its existence and fewer are able to discover it. What are we here for if not to make your lives easier and tastier?

What is it

Threads Café shares space with a spectacular boutique in true native style (native to Shahpur Jat). It briskly moves away from the local trend of whites and subtle shades. This place is unabashed when it comes to tasting the colourful side. The floor is beautifully multi-coloured with vibrant triangles neatly laid on white. The walls are decked in quirky artwork and the cushions are a burst of happiness. Away from the vibes of happy and high, there’s a table upstairs. One single table occupies a tiny room on the first floor that no one knows about. Everybody sees the pretty ground floor, the boutique and the tiny tables and think, ‘wow this is great’! What they don’t know is something better sits right above them.

When you climb upstairs, there’s a door that leads you to the one table room. A bright red couch with colourful cushions invite you to take a seat by the teal bookshelf. There are birds on the walls and butterflies in your stomach. Lunching here feels like paying someone to bring you mind blowing food to your own private living space.
