About 65 Per Cent Of European Tourists Visiting The International Tourism Circuit Visit Rajasthan

The world’s largest tourism fair, the International Travel Bourse, is currently ongoing in Berlin. This time, the focus is on the European market. Rajasthan tourism has also participated in this tourism fair. Principal Secretary for Tourism (Rajasthan), Gayatri Rathore, said that among all the European tourists visiting the international tourism circuit, a huge number visit Rajasthan in India. The state is known as the largest Indian state in terms of area. 

65 Per Cent Europeans Visit Rajasthan

If you look at the international tourism map, Rajasthan tourism has a very unique identity. Gayatri Rathore said that the tourism department works hard to ensure that visitors leave with a lasting impression and memories of Rajasthan. The tourism department is constantly introducing new ideas to encourage as many tourists as possible to visit Rajasthan. 

P. Harish, the Indian ambassador to Germany, and Arvind Singh, the union tourism secretary, officially opened the Rajasthan tourism pavilion on March 7 in Berlin in the company of the state tourism delegation. 

The Indian Ambassador and the Union Tourism Secretary, on behalf of the state tourism delegation, were welcomed in the traditional Rajasthani style. Under the leadership of Gayatri Rathore, Chief Secretary, Tourism Department, Joint Secretary Rajesh Sharma and tourism department officials are participating in the International Travel Bourse (ITB).

Goal Of The Tourism Department

The tourism department’s main goal is to attract more and more European tourists to Rajasthan. A  tourism exhibition has also been set up in the state pavilion at ITB. Tourism officials are attending more than 30 business-to-business meetings in Berlin.

The Palace on Wheels, a luxury tourist train launched by the Indian Railways in collaboration with the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation to promote tourism in the desert state, has piqued the interest of international tour and travel operators.
