Ever since its inauguration, the Terminal-2 (T2) of Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport has been appreciated for its innovative aesthetics and grandeur. And now, legendary cricketer Kevin Pietersen is all praise for this airport as well. In his latest post on X (formerly Twitter), Kevin posted a small video of the airport’s interiors and called it “absolutely world class!” The Internet agreed with his appreciation and shared their two cents as well.

Former England cricketer and commentator Kevin Pietersen landed in Bengaluru’s Terminal 2 recently and he was pleasantly surprised. The legendary cricketer was in awe of T2’s aesthetics and infrastructure. So much so that he posted a short video of the airport’s interiors on his X (formerly Twitter) account and praised it for being “absolutely world class.” He also mentioned that the Bengaluru International Airport’s T2 “can be put up against any airport around the world.”

Thanking him for his sincere appreciation, the Bengaluru Airport Authority also responded to his tweet. In the reply, they mentioned, “ Our priority is always ensuring that all our passengers have the finest travel experience.”
This isn’t the first time that the Kempegowda International Airport’s T2 has been appreciated so much. In 2023, this airport was named “World’s Most Beautiful Airports”. It was also awarded the ‘World Special Prize for an Interior 2023’ by UNESCO’s Prix Versailles, making it the only Indian airport to receive this recognition from UNESCO.
