We all love to have a day off to visit some parks and chill on the green patches. But what if we give you entertainment and learning choices while you enjoy your leisure time? One of Abu Dhabi’s most picturesque locations Umm Al Emarat Park is having a Festival in the Park. This annual two-day festival of the arts from all seven emirates will feature music, comedy, and performance art later this month.

The event is scheduled to start on March 12 and end on March 13. The Umm Al Emarat Park Amphitheatre in Abu Dhabi will serve as the festival’s location. With a number of fun and enlightening activities for the whole family, it will be a celebration of culture and creativity.

1. Hamad Al Taee – Composer and Pianist

But his passion for music from his childhood has made him gain the confidence to perform in concerts and he has made it to the Festival in the park event. Catch a glimpse of him at Umm Al Emarat on the mentioned date & time.

2. Ahmed Al Hosani – Classical Singer

Classical singing isn’t a cup of tea for many of us but Ahmed Al Hosani might change that idea for us. His vocal mastery and Operatic nuance have proved to alter the concept of classical singing for many. So if you fancy transforming your mind about the way you think about Emirati classical music, then you need to visit this festival on 12th March 2023.

3. Sundeep Fernandes – Indian Comedian

The novice stand-up scene has dynamically expanded throughout the Arab world. And you might see some prominent names from Indian stand-up comedians in the Emirates performances. One such famous name featuring at this Festival In The Park will be Sundeep Fernandes. The performer will be cracking relatable jokes in English & Hindi. So if that catches your interest, you know what to do!

4. Abz Ali – Emirati Comedian

This Emirati Dentist fueled his passion to fix people’s hearts with laughter along with fixing teeth! Abz Ali will be fixing your evening with an endless supply of comedy content so don’t miss the show. Don’t worry, Abz will be performing in English.

5. Imah Dumagay – Filipino Comedian

Comedy doesn’t feed your family, said people. This woman from the Philippines agreed but still decided to prove them wrong by quitting her corporate job to become a full-time comedian. At this event in Abu Dhabi, Dumagay, a 14-year UAE resident, will be doing what she does best: making people laugh. So join us for your daily dose of humour.
