After Albert Hall, Baahubali 1 To Be Screened At Norway’s Stavanger Opera House With Orchestra

Baahubali: The Beginning created history. It was the first non-English film screened at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London. Screened on October 19, 2019, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus received a standing ovation from the audience. And now, Baahubali: The Beginning will grace Stavanger Opera House in Norway.

Baahubali 1 To Be Screened At Stavanger Opera House In Norway

Director SS Rajamouli took to Instagram to make a magnum opus announcement just like larger-than-life films. Sharing a picture from Norway, the director said he can’t forget the magical screening of Baahubali: The Beginning at London’s Royal Albert Hall. He adds that it is still stuck in his eyes.

And now, SS Rajamouli is very excited to announce another film in concert screening of Baahubali 1 in Stavanger Opera House in Norway Happening on August 18, this special screening will feature a performance by the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra. The picture shared on Instagram and X (former Twitter) shows SS Rajamouli standing with director K Raghavendra Rao and producer Sobhu Yarlagadda in Norway.

Stavanger Opera House is a renowned concert hall in Stavanger Norway. It was inaugurated by Crown Prince Haakon on 15th September 2012. Featuring an orchestra hall, a multi-purpose hall with great acoustics and an amphitheatre it’s a beloved place among concert-goers. It’s a perfect place for both symphonies and rock concerts.

Prabhas Fans Celebrate This News On Social Media

Eight years after its release, Baahubali: The Beginning makes its way to Norway and the hearts of Norwegians alike. Baahubali fans instantly took to the comments section to celebrate the good news, of their favourite film reaching new heights, venturing out to new borders.

Instead of comments, fans filled the comments section with Prabhas and Baahubali scene GIFS. One even posted a video of the standing ovation the team received at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Interestingly, someone even suggested SS Rajamouli take a boat and stroll around Fjord lakes in Stavanger. The Netizen suggested that this scenic location may serve as inspiration for the ace director.
