Cooking food is an art. But sometimes, there are some people who are hellbent on besmirching this art form by creating grotesque food items that leave culinary connoisseurs weeping. What they do may not officially qualify as a crime but, for many, it is comparable to corporal punishment. One such food item recently surfaced on the Internet. Maggi with Gems. Yes, you read it right. Someone ruined two of the most nostalgic Indian snacks in one fell swoop and we’re reduced to tears!

When one looks at the state of the world, one often wonders why humans are facing such calamities and what have we done to deserve such awfulness. Then you come across videos like these and understand that what is happening in the world is probably not punishment enough for humans for committing sins like these.
In the Eighties, Maggi did indeed come out with a Chocolate variant. I remember sample packets being handed out in school. It did not have a long run back then. 😆😆😂

A video that recently surfaced on social media showed a person cooking Maggi with Gems and milk! The video was shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), because where else would such a monstrosity appear? Maggi and Gems are both beloved childhood snacks and many love them dearly. But someone had the twisted notion of mixing these two together!

Despite how disgusting it looks, we have one positive thing to say about it. This sentiment was also echoed in the comments. We’re glad that the person did not mix the tastemaker along with the Gems. So at least it won’t be fully inedible. But something just feels wrong about slurping chocolate-flavoured noodles.

We regret to be the bearer of bad news but this is not the first time our beloved childhood snack has been desecrated in such a way. The same account shared a video of someone making Maggi with a pastry and we’re honestly so exhausted at this point. Pastry with Maggi? And we thought putting schezwan and cheese in every street food was bad enough!

In the previous video of Maggi and Gems, we at least had the solace of knowing that they didn’t mix the tastemaker with the sweet. But no such solace comforts us here! This guy mixed chillies, onions, tastemakers and other savoury flavours with pastry to create a monstrosity that isn’t even fit for animals! Needless to say, Netizens had some choice words for the maker.

One commenter said that the pastry Maggi looked literally like crap. And we’re willing to bet appearance is not the only thing that’s like crap with this Maggi.
