1. Air Arabia Adds Third German Destination
Air Arabia recently announced that it would add a third German destination to the network from the UAE. As it happens, it would offer daily non-stop flights between Sharjah and Düsseldorf. This would start from December 16th, 2026. Moreover, the new service would connect Sharjah International Airport with Düsseldorf, offering travellers another great option.

The second Diodrama Festival opened at the King Abdulaziz Cultural Centre in Al-Baha on August 26th. The Ministry Of Interior in Qatar announced how a public market license must be obtained for driving taxis, limousines, and public transport buses. It must be prescribed for each type, and it must be in accordance with approved requirements and procedures. 4. Daily Fee Of AED15 Set For Smart Vehicle Impound Service In Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi Police has announced that it has set a daily fee of AED15 for its smart vehicle impound service. This would allow motorists whose vehicles have been impounded to keep them at a location of their choice. This would enable the owners to apply to keep the custody of an impounded vehicle at the designated location.
5. Saudi Arabia Issues Red Alert For Heavy Rains
Saudi Arabia’s NCM has issued a red weather alert for heavy rains on Thursday, August 27th. In fact, there is a forecast for thunderstorms, flash floods, hail, and strong winds. The temperature is expected to reach 47°C in parts of the Kingdom. Heavy thunderstorms are expected over parts of Jazan, Asir, Mecca, Al Baha, and Medina.
