Mumbai and Mangalore are two important cities in India. In order to increase connectivity between these cities, Air India has introduced another flight. The airline company is owned by Talace Private Limited, which is a subsidiary of Tata & Sons. With this new flight, people will have more travel options. Air India Has Started 2nd Flight From Mumbai To Mangalore
Beginning on June 10, Air India will operate a second daily route between Mangalore and Mumbai, improving flight connectivity. This event occurs just after IndiGo, on May 22, added a third daily flight on the Mumbai-Mangalore route. As a result, the two airlines now provide a total of five flights per day on this busy route. The Mumbai-Mangalore route saw the most traffic in 2022, carrying almost 490,000 people.
Air India flight 1679 departs Mumbai at 12:40 and lands in Mangalore at 2:10. The AI 1680 return leg departs Mangalore at 2.50 and arrives in Mumbai at 4.35. 182 people boarded AI 1679 for the first flight of this service, and 167 passengers boarded AI 1680 for the departure to Mumbai.

The second flight operated by Air India, AI 679, takes off from Mumbai at 5.45 am and lands in Mangalore at 7.20 am. Flight AI 680 departs Mangalore on the return trip at 7.55 am and arrives in Mumbai at 9.35 am.
IndiGo To Start Its 3rd Daily Trip
IndiGo has stated that it will continue flying its third daily trip to Mumbai till the conclusion of the current summer airline schedule, which closes on October 28, according to sources at Mangalore International Airport. The low-cost carrier has extended the flight’s ticket availability to July 31 from its original intended departure date of June 15.
Due to this, Mangalore International Airport currently sees an average of 38 air traffic movements (ATMs) every day, with a combined total of 5,000 passengers passing through (local and international).
