Air India Has Started Restoring Salaries Of Pilots And Cabin Crews

It has been around 3 months since Tata Group took over the control of Air India. And within this time, Tata Group has already initiated the operation of restoring salaries to their pilots and cabin crews. With relaxation in Covid guidelines, everything is returning back to normal and the air traffic is increasing too.

Air India falls into the list of those airlines that cut the salaries and allowances of pilots and cabin crews when the pandemic hit the world and halted travel facilities. Overall, their salaries have been restored by nearly 75% and will be effective from 1 April 2022.

The airline announced on Friday, as reported by ANI, “As the hope of a post-pandemic world seems within reach and the Aviation Sector takes off once again with some visible changes in our performance, we are happy to inform you that your salary cuts have been reviewed and the restoration of salaries will happen in a phased manner.”

These salaries will be reviewed later based on the performances of the employees in the upcoming time. The organisational announcement letter stated it, signed by Amrita Sharan, Director (Personnel), Air India.
