Senior Citizens To Get 50% Discount On Air India Flights

Senior citizens, aged 60 years and above, can now avail of a 50 percent discount on Air India flights. The tickets have to be purchased three days before the flight’s departure. The official website of the airline has mentioned the criteria required for the scheme. The offer is applicable only to domestic flights. The senior citizen must be of Indian nationality and a permanent resident of India. On the date of departure, the person should have attained 60 years of age. Also, the offer will be applicable to select booking classes in the economy cabin. Required documents to avail of this discount include any valid Photo ID with date of birth like Voter’s ID card, Passport, Driving License, Senior Citizen ID card issued by Air India.

Air India Is Offeting Waviers For Cancellations

 Many international flights either had to be cancelled or scheduled for a later date. But if you have a flight ticket booking with Air India, you have very little to worry about as the airline is offering several waivers. Because of travel restrictions, the airlines have announced several waivers for those holding international tickets. Air India has extended its offer of 1 free change in date, flight number or sector in its domestic network till June 30, 2021 for the convenience of passengers.

Air India To Operate Flights From Indore To Dubai

There is good news for people from Indore. Air India will operate weekly flights between Indore and Dubai in the UAE, said Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Financial bids for disinvestment-bound Air India will likely be received from qualified interested bidders (QIBs) by September 15.
