On August 17, group-owned Air India started a 96-hour sale throughout its domestic and international route network, giving passengers the chance to book their travel at competitive rates. The starting price for a one-way, all-inclusive ticket on domestic flights is ₹1,470 for Economy Class and ₹10,130 for Business Class. The same prices are offered on a few international routes.

There are no convenience fees associated with any bookings made through the Air India website or mobile app. Air India’s Flying Returns members can double their loyalty bonus points on all purchases.

Bookings made through the sale are already being accepted and must be made by August 20, 2023, at 23:59 EST, for travel on specific domestic and international routes between September 1 and October 31, 2023. The notification states that the blackout dates are valid throughout the travel period.

With limited seats, passengers will be served at first come basis.

As part of its rebranding last week, Air India unveiled its new brand identity and aircraft livery on August 10 to showcase the airline’s audacious vision for the future. The brand-new livery and design of the airline, which is owned by the Tata Group, incorporates a pattern that is inspired by the chakras and a colour scheme of deep red, aubergine, and gold highlights.

When Air India’s first Airbus A350 joins the fleet with the new livery in December 2023, passengers will also start to notice the new logo while on their flights.
