Amid Citizen Amendment Bill (CAB) protests, various airlines including Indigo, Go Air, SpiceJet, Vistara have either cancelled or rescheduled their flights to Dibrugarh in Assam. To make sure that the passengers do not face the brunt of it, they have also offered to waive off cancellation fee, and issue a full refund incase the bookings are not rescheduled.

Parts of Assam, including Dibrugarh and the capital city Guwahati have been placed under indefinite curfew. The reports also added, that because of the current state of affairs, transportation and connectivity has also been affected. In order to not cause any more trouble to those travelling to these regions, airlines have taken measures to make sure that disruptions are dealt with in an easy manner.
Indigo has cancelled all flights to Dibrugarh until December 14 and are offering full refunds on tickets. Spice Jet is offering full refunds to people on flights to Dibrugarh till today (December 13). Vistara, too, is offering free change, cancellation of flights to Dibrugarh till December 15.

Transport Services Halted
As per news reports, the air and rail traffic has been disrupted in Assam. All passenger trains operating in the area, to Tripura and Mizoram have been cancelled. Some of the fuel depots have also been closed, because of which the local transport, like auto-rickshaws, have been affected too.
The ongoing situation will continue to affect the connectivity in the area. While the railways have stated disruptions until further notice, flights have been cancelled only till Sunday (December 15).
