The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has officially launched holiday home services with the objective of boosting tourism and making Ajman a premier destination for people.
The visionary guidance of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has been crucial while designing this service.
By implementing these services, real estate investors and hotel management firms can take advantage of the ability to rent out residential properties for brief periods of time, offering a flexible and creative substitute for traditional contracts.
Additionally, ADTD provides thorough inspection and categorization services for registered units, making a distinction between standards for luxury and touristic accommodations. This rigorous supervision ensures that owners and operators follow the predetermined rules and criteria governing the operation of holiday homes.

The Holiday Homes Services System aims to promote expansion within the emirate’s tourism industry. It is also in line with the strategic goals of the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman.
During the first week of June 2023, registration for holiday home permits will start on the department’s electronic services system. To use the service, interested owners and businesses must provide particular documentation.
The Department of Tourism Development in Ajman’s electronic services website is where applicants must go, fill out the appropriate information, attach the required paperwork, and pay the necessary costs.
After these procedures are finished, an electronic permit will be issued, requiring its prominent display inside the specified unit.
The main goal is to increase the variety of hotel options in Ajman, which will enhance the traveller’s experience and raise standards of living for both locals and visitors.
The Honourable The Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, expressed his extreme happiness and enthusiasm for the introduction of vacation house services.
