A viral video from an Indian Railways sleeper coach is stealing hearts for all the right reasons. Shared by a passenger travelling on the Kolkata-Sairang train, the video clip shows an exceptionally clean coach maintained by Mizoram passengers throughout the journey. The reason? Passengers themselves took it upon themselves to keep the train spotless by collecting their own waste instead of leaving it behind. Scroll down to know more.
Passengers Carry Their Own Trash In Mizoram-Bound Train
The video was recorded onboard the Kolkata-Sairang train, which links West Bengal with Mizoram and started operations in September last year. Unlike the usual sights of food wrappers, plastic bottles and other litter lying across train coaches, this sleeper section remained remarkably clean.
According to the passenger who shot the video, most fellow tourists were from Mizoram and were carrying small plastic bags to collect their own waste during the journey. One woman was seen carefully disposing of rubbish into a white bag she had brought along.

One user wrote, “People of Meghalaya, Sikkim, Mizoram far ahead of rest of India in terms of discipline, cleanliness. For Mumbai, the less said the better.
