Similarly, he came across a video recently that featured a Karnataka fruit seller, and Mahindra posted the video on his account, calling the seller ‘the quiet hero of Swachh Bharat’.
Anand Mahindra Lauds Karnataka Fruit Seller
Anand Mahindra posted a video on Tuesday on his official Twitter account. The video featured a woman fruit seller from Karnataka. The video was shot at the Ankola bus stand in Karnataka. The woman in the video could be seen picking up leaves thrown by people on the bus stand.
To clarify this, the video posted by @adarshhegde had a caption explaining that this woman sells fruits at the bus station by wrapping them in leaves. People who consume these fruits tend to throw the leaves there. But this woman herself goes and collects them all and throws them in the trash.
While posting the video, Anand Mahindra captioned the video in a very sweet way, as he called the fruit seller ‘the quiet hero of Swachh Bharat’. He also wished to let the woman know that her work had not gone unnoticed and asked people how he could contact her.
