Planning A Cruise Trip? Visakhapatnam To Launch Its First International Cruise Starting July 15

When travelling by train or air, travellers usually cannot explore any place beyond their destinations. That’s exactly why cruise travel is becoming more popular, as people look for new and relaxed ways to explore the world. Now, to offer this experience, Visakhapatnam is set to launch its first international cruise service. Here’s what you need to know.

Visakhapatnam To Launch International Cruise Service

The first international cruise from Vishakhapatnam is all set to start the ride on July 15. As per NDTV, this cruise will be operated by Cordelia Cruises and will start from Visakhapatnam’s international terminal. Earlier, most international cruises from India used to start from Mumbai, but now travellers from eastern and southern India get a new and more convenient option.

The journey itself sounds quite exciting. It is a 14-day international cruise across Southeast Asia. The ship will first leave from Visakhapatnam and then head to Chennai. It will stay there for two days, giving passengers a chance to explore the city. After that, the cruise will sail into international waters and continue its journey towards popular destinations.

Destinations Included In The Route

As a travel lover, the cruise route sounds like a dream to me. According to NDTV, it includes stops like Phuket, Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur, and finally Singapore. Between these destinations, there will also be “sea days,” which basically mean full days at sea where passengers can just relax and enjoy the views.

Another big plus point of this itinerary is how easy the travel process is. You don’t need a visa for Thailand and Malaysia, which already removes a lot of stress. For Singapore, travellers can get a visa on arrival, making things even smoother. The only important thing you really need to keep in mind is a valid passport with at least six months of validity.
