Yas Island in Abu Dhabi is a place of brilliant opportunity for travellers. Offering a host of exciting activities, this island is perfect for a weekend getaway and now, there is a new Chief Island Officer that has been appointed for the destination. Jason Momoa Becomes The New Chief Island Officer

Jason Momoa has now been announced as the newest Chief Island Officer of Yas Island. According to the National News, this development comes after Kevin Hart announced that he will now be stepping down from the position, after taking it up in May of 2022. And to be honest, there could be no one better suited for this role than Jason Momoa! After all, he is famous for playing the role of the much-loved superhero from the DC universe, Aquaman. He is also known for playing other prominent roles, such as that of Khal Drogo, in the hit Game of Thrones series.

A Teaser Introducing Aquaman As CIO Was Released

As it happens, a new teaser video was also released showing this Hollywood star paddling to words this island. He’s also shown enjoying some of the popular attractions at this destination, such as Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World, Yas, Waterworld, and Yas Marina Circuit. In the teaser, the actor is also seen stating that he is now going to be making sure that everyone lives it up just like him. Talking about the short stint of Kevin Hart, as the Chief Island Officer, he made videos and visits to Yas Island for global tourism. All of this concluded with his stand-up comedy at the Etihad Arena in February.

So, it’s only natural that we are excited about this development and can expect some wonderful things from Aquaman. After all, Yas Island is a great destination to unwind and have fun with your loved ones while making some new core memories!
