Sharing a picture of himself sitting on a flight, in a face-palm pose, Ashish Solanki narrates his incident on the ‘Gram to the delight of his followers and fans. Apparently, the stand-up comedian was on a flight when a male passenger, almost his age, came up to him and asked, “Are you single?” The Comicstaan fame was surprised to notice the ease with which men these days are asking other men out. And who wouldn’t be flattered? He then smiled and said, “I’m sorry, I’m married.”

The male passenger looked confused and replied, “Oh, I was just wondering if you were single, so I could request that you exchange your seat with my wife.” Now, if this didn’t leave you ROFLing, then we wonder what will! We totally get that face-palm now.

Sometimes it all boils down to the choice of words. Perhaps the question should have been rightly framed as “Are you travelling alone?”
