Indian nationals, apart from natives of Arunachal Pradesh will be needing Inline Permit (ILP) and foreigners would be Protected Area Permit (PAP). You can place an online request to the state government for the same.

How To Reach

To attend the Ziro Festival of Music, you can either hire taxi from Guwahati or a bus from Itanagar. You can take a train or a plane to the nearest railway station (Naharlagun) or airport (Tezpur) respectively; and the opt for a road transport to reach the location.

We suggest that you opt for the early bird tickets. You might be able to get a good deal. Make sure that you get all the permits, because you don’t want to be stuck and miss out on the festival. Also, add an extra day to the itinerary. Start a day early. Given the season and the unpredictability of weather, you want to be safe.
