Ashneer Grover Has Travelled To 53 Countries And This Is One Of His Favourites

Ashneer Grover

Recently Ashneer Grover, the former co-founder of BharatPe and former judge of Shark Tank India joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for this episode of Sunday Brunch. He shared with us a bunch of tips and tricks to handle money and how to work on a startup. In a world where startups are a thing, listening to him talk about his passion was a great experience. Today, we are going to talk about his travel diaries as we got to know about London being his favourite destination, so read on to know more.

Ashneer Grover Has Covered 53 Countries And His Favourite One Is

Kamiya began by inquiring as to how many countries Ashneer Grover has covered. He said that if he recalled rightly then he counted it to be 52 to 53 countries and that was quite a flex. The next question was, “What is your favourite country to travel to?” To which he replied that the United Kingdom was one of his favourite countries and his favourite city was London.

Ashneer Grover informed us that London is an excellent place to be when you are not pondering too much about work and all, which is why he prefers it there. We are pretty sure his brain doesn’t stop thinking even when he is in London. Then he also clarified that every location he had visited was quite remarkable. He informed us that he had travelled to most of the spectacular regions of France, Normandy and Italy.

He Said Indians Can’t Say No!

Kamiya wanted to know how the business founders took his opinions when they pitched any of their company’s ideas to him. Ashneer Grover shared, “India mein na logo ko no bolna nahi aata hai.” He said that Indians can’t say no to things easily but he also went on to state that saying no to a pitch or an idea is one of the most practical things to say.

Ashneer Grover told us that the main objective behind the pitch is to gain as much money as the founders and investors want. When he has done his magical calculations and comes to the solution that the new idea is not a money-making one, he simply says no. Ashneer thinks that if he doesn’t invest in this new pitch, it should come as a signal to the founders that the idea is faulty.

Ashneer Grover wants to point out that taking a no for any business venture should not be looked at as a negative point. This no can eventually save a lot of money and time. Looks like Indians have to learn to say no and take no as an answer as well.
