A man walked into a vegetarian ISKCON restaurant in London, asked if they served meat, and got a clear “no.” Following this, he pops open a bucket of KFC chicken on the counter and starts eating it unapologetically! The viral video of the man eating chicken within the holy premises of ISKCON has triggered a response from the famous rapper Badshah on X.

Man Eats Chicken At ISKCON Restaurant, Video Goes Viral

The venue in question was Govinda’s, a restaurant known for its strictly vegetarian ethos, operated under ISKCON’s spiritual framework. The man’s ignorant actions of walking in and demanding chicken were recorded and circulated online, and needless to say, they have set off a digital firestorm. It was not just because he violated a menu, but because he violated a sentiment.

After being informed that the establishment doesn’t serve non-veg food, he unwrapped the chicken anyway, seemingly with full intent to provoke people sitting nearby. What made matters worse was that he allegedly offered the meat to others seated nearby.

Security was summoned after the disturbance escalated. The individual was asked to leave but he didn’t budge. He refused to vacate, continuing the spectacle, and forcing guards to escort him out.

Badshah’s Stand Causes A Stir

Known for his sharp tongue and even sharper instincts for calling out performative antics, the rapper fired off a tweet:

“Even the chicken would be embarrassed. Dude wasn’t hungry for chicken, he was hungry for some 🩴 on that face. True strength is in respecting what you don’t understand.”

The post exploded across platforms, with many applauding Badshah taking a stand against cultural insensitivity, and the rapper had a mic drop moment, this time off stage. The backlash has been swift; from ISKCON followers to the general public, the reaction has ranged from disappointment to full-blown outrage.

Many online users called the act not just disrespectful, but an intentional, attention-hungry stunt with no regard for the spiritual sanctity of the space. Some are even urging legal action, arguing that the incident crosses the line from rude to unlawful.

The outrage is not about the food but about the context. What you eat is your choice and where, how, and why you flaunt it can be another matter entirely. In a country where spaces of worship and community carry emotional and cultural weight, such acts are harmful to people’s notions.

Badshah, meanwhile, is balancing this moment with his growing presence on-screen. After his stint as a judge on Indian Idol, he’s now part of the upcoming film Sunny Sanskaari Ki Tulsi Kumari, where he stars alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. But this week, it’s not a beat drop or box office news that’s echoing, it’s a rapper drawing a very public line in the sand between provocation and principle.
