And now, adding to a slew of new hotels announced in the kingdom are two new hotels under Indian Hotels Company Ltd. Known for the luxurious Taj brand, IHCL is bringing a luxury hotel and a boutique resort under this brand to the kingdom and we are here to tell you all about it.
Taj Hotel Marks An Entry In Bahrain
On Wednesday, July 31, the Indian Hotels Company Limited chain signed a deal that marks a significant milestone for its greenfield project. Moreover, it has become the first Indian hospitality company that will be establishing its presence in the kingdom. Yes, they have announced two new hotels in the island nation that align with the strategy of growing Taj’s presence in key cities of the world. In case you weren’t aware, Taj already has seven hotels, four of which are under development in the Middle East. And with the addition of these two new hotels, it’s bound to increase the presence of the chain in the Middle East.
Plans To Develop A Resort & Hotel
Introducing the world-class hospitality of the Taj, this is bound to elevate the kingdom’s tourism landscape. The Taj resort in Himala is going to be a 251-key property! Additionally, it will feature an all-day dining restaurant, two-speciality restaurants and a swimming pool along with a beach club. In fact, the resort will feature a massive 1,200 m² banquet. And it will also include wellness areas like a gym and spa.
Coming to the hotel, this will be a 200-room property in Downtown Seef, Manama. Complete with wellness facilities, such as a gym, spa, and swimming pool, the hotel will also have all-day dining. Not to mention, they will also have a speciality restaurant and an exclusive pool bar. Additionally, the banquet will be tailored for meetings, weddings, and even corporate events.
With the aim of attracting tourists in large numbers, these two new hotels are bound to be a great contribution to the GDP as well.
