While 2020 was a difficult year for travel and tourism, many countries are slowly relaxing the travel rules. And with the vaccination in the picture, several countries are now ready to welcome vaccinated tourists. Belize is the latest addition to the list. It becomes the first country in the Caribbean to welcome vaccinated travellers without a COVID-19 test. 

Vaccinated Travellers Must Download Belize Health Application

Vaccinated travelers to Belize will only need to provide vaccination proof which states that they have completed their full inoculation at least two weeks before their arrival into Belize. Non-Vaccinated Travellers Must Carry A COVID Negative Test Certificate

Belize saw a dip in the COVID-19 cases which prompted the government to ease the restriction on vaccinated travellers. Currently, there are less than 100 cases countrywide and the numbers are continuously dipping. However, if are non-vaccinated you must show proof of COVID-19 test to enter Belize. Travellers Can Also Undergo Testing At The Airport

If you fail to present a report, you will have to undergo testing at the airport and pay $50. In case you test positive, you will have to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine at Belize. For more information on Belize’s travel requirements, visit the Travel Belize website.
