In a shocking series of events, a Bengaluru woman found a hidden camera in the toilet of one of the outlets of Third Wave Coffee. It was soon found out that the phone belonged to one of the employees at the outlet. An eyewitness to the incident took to social media to share how it all went down. If reports are to go by, the employee has been terminated and legal action is being taken regarding this.

According to a post which was recently shared on Instagram by the handle @gangsofcinepur, the incident took place at the New BEL road outlet of Third Wave Coffee. As per the posts made by this handle, a woman found a mobile phone inside the dustbin of the toilet at the cafe.

The mobile phone’s camera, she found out, had been running for more than two hours, recording video. The phone was placed in a garbage bag to hide it. Only the area sound the camera had a hole so that it could record.

The phone was also put on flight mode so that no calls or messages would alert the person inside the toilet of its presence. Soon after the phone was discovered, it was found that it belonged to one of the men who worked there.

Legal Action Taken; Employee Fired For This Incident

Police were soon called to the site and legal action is being taken regarding the situation. The Insta handle ended the post by urging others to be very careful when using the washrooms of any cafe or restaurant, regardless of its reputation,

The handle also shared a screenshot of the cafe’s official handle responding to their stories by saying that legal action has been taken. This incident serves as a reminder to be careful when using washrooms even in reputed places.
