Taking to the sub-Reddit r/mangalore, a user, Zealousideal_Top2611, shared a post with the title “Felt happy, felt like sharing it.” The person informed that they are from Bangalore and their job entails travelling back and forth between Bangalore and Mangalore. Due to a fear of flying, the Redditor often prefers to travel by bus even if the company would pay for their flights.
However, due to an urgent work situation, the person had to take a flight from Bangalore to Mangalore. “I was a nervous wreck,” wrote the person and even shared that they used an inhaler like a fidget to calm down. But nothing helped soothe their anxiety. That’s when a co-passenger, a woman, wrote the word ‘Serendipity’ on a piece of paper and handed it to the anxious flier.

Throughout the course of the journey, she kept chatting with the flier. On landing, the Redditor came to know that she was an ENT doctor from Pondicherry who was heading to her daughter’s graduation in Mangalore. The person thanked her, and they departed.
