Flaunting a white shirt and jeans, Bhumi patiently waited in line at the OG outlet of The Rameshwaram Cafe in Bangalore. She revealed in her reel that she’s been wanting to visit the spot for quite a while. “Sabse famous kya hai yaha ka?” she asked at the counter. And of course, the reccos revolved around “ghee” and “podi”. Bhumi Pednekkar ordered Ghee Podi Idli, Ghee Podi Masala Dosa and Filter Coffee.
The minute she took a bite of the Ghee Podi Idli, her eyes widened, and she did a little dance. “It’s oozing with ghee and podi,” she reacted. Next came the Ghee Podi Masala Dosa, which she dug into, shutting out the noise around her. Fully focused, she meticulously tore a piece of the dosa, scooped some masala and dipped it in chutney before savouring it. But it was the Filter Coffee that felt like nirvana for Bhumi. “Oh, my God! That’s f*****g good!” said the actress almost like it was a revelation for her.

After inhaling her cup of filter coffee, Bhuki Bhumi drove to Nagarjuna, her “most favourite destination in Bengaluru.” Her excitement to tuck into spicy Andhra food left her salivating during the drive. A couple of photos and some banter later, she sat down for a full-blown banana leaf meal. There was rice, Dal Pappu, Poriyal, Paneer Sholay, Avial, Rasam, Sambar, Appalam, Payasam on her leaf, and of course, “tons of ghee”.

For all the ghee and benne (butter) she belted at The Rameshwaram Cafe and Nagarjuna, workouts followed her food escapades.
