The government warned that a fake website ‘mohfw.xyz’ is impersonating Ministry of Health & Family Welfare’s official website and is claiming to offer Covid19 Vaccine for ₹ 4,000 to ₹6,000. The government has appealed to disseminate the information to prevent people from getting duped by this fraudulent website. The Fake Website Looks Similar To The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare’s Official Website
The fake website has a similar layout and colours as that of the original website. But there is additional information saying ‘appointment for vaccination’ which is not there on the original website. The PIB also tweeted a fact check on Twitter.

The Union Ministry further enunciated that a total of over 70 lakh 17 thousand people have been administered COVID-19 vaccines in the country so far. The Ministry said, 13 states and union territories have vaccinated over 65% of the registered health care workers.
