Rasam is a staple in most South Indian houses if not all. Having a warm bowl of rasam on a cold rainy day feels like the solution to all your problems. And now, the famous South Indian dish has found another one of its fans in Bhagyashree. The actor, who is quite active on her Instagram, shared with her followers why this dish is the perfect “comfort food”.

Bhagyashree has been the queen of many hearts in the ’90s. The actor, who needs no introduction captivated the audience with her performance in “Maine Pyaar Kiya” and has since been gaining even more fans. 

The actor regularly takes to her Instagram to engage with her followers in various ways. She has her own #TuesdaytipswithB, where she shares her take and important insights on health, lifestyle, fitness, and diet. 

This week, the actor enlightened her fans with the deliciousness of Rasam. She went on to call the popular South Indian dish, “soup for the soul.” But that’s not all. She also mentioned the various minerals and vitamins the dish has. Such as vitamin A, vitamin C and niacin along with minerals such as potassium, iron, calcium, zinc, copper and magnesium.

Bhagyashree also went on to share the many benefits Rasam has. She shared how it is made with wholesome ingredients full of flavour. Such as tomatoes, spices, bay leaves, tamarind, and herbs. She also went on to tell her followers the many vitamins and minerals the South Indian dish possesses. 

Rasam is often hailed as “soup for the soul,” and is a dish that deserves special attention in the culinary world.
