Fulfilling Wishes Of Devotees To Go On Kashi Yatra

Shashikala Jolle further added that it was her idea to launch this programme as most pilgrims have a desire to go on Kashi Yatra at least once in their lifetime. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai also played an integral role in conceptualizing this idea. Pilgrims will embark on a 7-day tour from Bangalore to Varanasi travelling 4,161 km. The train features 14 coaches, where one entire bogie has been transformed into a temple, so devotees can pay their respects to the divine.
