And as the Riyadh Book Fair has already ended, you might already be getting those FOMO feels. However not anymore! We say this because the Jeddah Book Fair is now making its way to the Red Sea City in December and we are here with all the details.

As announced by the Saudi Ministry of Culture on its official Instagram account, the Jeddah Book Fair is returning to the city from December 12 to 22. The 10-day book fair will be organised by the Ministry of Culture and will feature some exquisite treats that we are sure your book-loving soul will want to pick up. As it happens, the MSC is responsible for important partnerships with local publishing houses. In fact, they’re also known for launching accompanying cultural programmes, which include dialogue sessions seminars and events.

So talking about the fair, it will be bringing back a diverse collection of literary works, publishing exhibits, and cultural activities.

As a part of their mission, they will be developing the writing and publishing industry in the country where several publishers, writers, and readers will be encouraged to participate.

Yes, a specific pavilion has been allocated to them where they can learn to fuse together learning and playing performances, puppet workshops, theatre shows, culinary arts, music, fashion, and even storyboard-making workshops, to name some.
