In a first, Bihar Museum will be hosting Museum Biennale in India in an all-new hybrid avatar. The Museum will be inaugurated on March 22, 2021, on the auspicious occasion of Bihar Diwas.

The Bihar Museum Bienalle will be organised by the Department of Arts, Culture and Youth Affairs, Government of Bihar. The organisers aim to create awareness of the importance and significance of museum culture in India. Besides, the Biennale will facilitate an understanding of culture and build a strong sense of identity. The Biennale will showcase collections from various museums across India and the world.
