IRCTC  is back with an exciting 4-day Vaishno Devi darshan package for the devotees and pilgrims. Nestled at an altitude of 5200 ft., the temple is almost 12 km away from Katra. All You Need To Know About This 4-Day Vaishno Devi Darshan

The 4days/ 3 nights is named ‘Vaishno Devi Darshan By Uttar S. Kranti’. The mode of reaching the destination primarily is by train ‘Uttar Sampark Kranti Express’ from the departure station, Delhi. And the train leaves at 08:50 pm. An important point to note is that the class of the ticket is non AC sleeper. Under this package, Katra is the destination to be covered. The 4-day Vaishno Devi darshan package starts at only ₹2,845 only. The trip begins on 1 June 2022 and the frequency of the next trip is daily till 26 February 2023. All the hotels, train tickets, and meals fall under this package by IRCTC.

Itinerary Of The Vaishno Devi Darshan By Uttar S. Kranti

  • Day 1 begins with catching the train from the New Delhi railway station at 8:50 pm. It will be an overnight train journey to reach the destination the next day.
  • On day 2, the pilgrims will arrive at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra railway station at 8:05 am. They will then reach the hotel, complete the check-in, and then enjoy breakfast in the IRCTC guest house. They will have to take the yatra slip from the counter at the arrival station. Then all will proceed to Banganga at around 10:30 am. The pilgrims can take a trip to the Vaishno Devi shrine for free. Later, they will be dropped off at the IRCTC guest house Katra. The night will end with an overnight stay there.

  • Day 3 begins with breakfast and then there is nothing really to explore according to the itinerary. Pilgrims can relax throughout the day as they will begin their long journey at 6:30 pm. After checking out from the hotel, they will catch the Uttar Sampark Kranti Express from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra railway station at 7:55 pm. It will be an overnight train journey.
  • The tour will end on day 4 as the pilgrims will arrive at the New Delhi railway station in the early morning at 6:55 am.
