Tourism in India is not limited to forts, palaces and religious places. There are several unexplored beauties lying along the borders of the country. Moreover, certain villages in the country are worth visiting. To bring them into the spotlight, the Indian government has started the Vibrant Village Programme (VVP). Recently, 17 villages along the China border were added to the programme that benefit border tourism — check it out:
Border Tourism: 17 Villages Along China Border Added To VVP!
Living on the mainland, we are unaware of life along the borders. Similarly, there are only a few things we know about rural life. The Vibrant Village Programme was launched by the government in an effort to increase tourism in rural areas. The government has chosen 17 communities along the Chinese border to be turned into tourist destinations as part of this plan.
Three phases are required for the VVP implementation. The 663 villages that will be renovated in the first phase include the 17 border villages that are now undergoing development. This renovation project’s main goals are improved connectivity and visitor amenities.
