Mumbai Food Vlogger Finds Dead Insect In Her Burger King Meal
Anshika, a food vlogger took to her Instagram handle (@chikatalks) to share her awful dining experience at a Burger King outlet in Navi Mumbai. Showing a half-eaten burger to the camera, Anshika explains that she found a dead insect in her burger ordered from Burger King India. You can see a tiny cockroach sticking out of the patty. “It just made me feel like vomiting right now, but I wanted to report this issue,” she says in the video.

“Burger King, this is not acceptable,” says the vlogger with disdain. She continues, “Even if brands like Burger King are going to do this, then I don’t know where to eat anymore.” American fast-food chain Burger King like other fast-food chains has often set the impression of strictly following impeccable hygiene standards. So, when an issue like this is brought to the forefront, it surely disappoints customers.
In the caption, Anshika tagged the Instagram handle of the brand. She informed me that the insect was found in her double patty veggie burger ordered from an outlet in Mumbai. She stated that this incident raised safety issues. The food vlogger demands an apology from the brand for having consumed a burger that puts her health and safety at risk.

Netizens Asked Her To File A Case
Burger King responded to her complaint in the comments section. The message informed that they have forwarded her issue to the concerned team who’ll reach out to her. They requested her patience in the meantime. An Instagrammer informed that he found a live cockroach in his Burger King meal as well, ordered from a Gurgaon outlet. While some Netizens told her to file a case against the outlet, others were sarcastic about her getting “extra protein”.
Anshika stated to Curly Tales that while the brand’s customer care team called her and apologised to her for the issue, they haven’t compensated her for the same.
