Called Café Ladida, it is nestled between an ancient curry leaf tree and oyster shell windows that embrace the cool blues and happy ochres of mainland Goa. It’s a quaint European-inspired cafe built on the verandah of an old Portuguese bungalow. Started by Chef Jeneva Talwar, the cafe promises to become a melting pot for fun conversations and quality food.

Café Ladida has a warm and inviting ambience that makes it the perfect spot for a lazy afternoon or a quick bite. The café has a rustic charm with wooden furniture and colourful décor. It is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable café experience in Goa.

The tables and chairs are made of wood and are accented with colourful cushions and upholstery, creating a comfortable and relaxed seating area. The cafe has large windows that let in plenty of natural light, creating a bright and airy space. Potted plants and hanging vines are strategically placed throughout the cafe, adding a touch of greenery and bringing the outside in.

The coffee at Café Ladida is also worth trying, with a range of brewing methods to choose from. While you’re there, grab their innovative curry leaf chilli cheese sandwich, moms cheesy chicken curry stuffed brioche bun, french lemon tart, the chocolate hazelnut tart and chocolate mousse. The place cements itself as one of the innovative bakery and pastry places in Goa.

As an extension to her menu, Talwar also focuses on the ever-growing food restrictions for gluten-free, sugar-free and vegan products. Go for their gluten-free bread, the vegan banana walnut cake, and the sugar-free almond loaf which are amongst the bestsellers.  Even their vegan, gluten and sugar-free cookies called, ‘The Baap’ is worth trying.  But don’t forget to try their infamous sea salt caramel chocolate cake, strawberries and cream and lemon cloud cake.
