An offbeat location and still remotely located, Honnemardu is a hidden spot not known to many, it overlooks the Linganamakki Reservoir that’s formed by the backwaters of the Sharavathi. Adventurers is the name of the company with a team of nature enthusiasts who have been allowed here with prior permissions and bookings, to conduct watersports and camping here.

What’s In It?
The Adventurers base camp at Honnemaradu is the place to stay at where you’ll get all the basic necessities like foam mats, vegetarian meals, and a clean room. Smoking and drinking are prohibited here as they promote a very nature-friendly and eco-friendly place. You are also required to bring your own sleeping bags as it gets quite chilly during the nights and cosy up and enjoy the bonfire session under a starry night.
Water sports enthusiasts can take down to the waters and swim across or just hop onto the coracles and return to the mainland. Spend the rest of the day kayaking and canoeing. You can even go bird watching as it offers beautiful spots for butterfly spotting. Sit by the lake and let your thoughts drift away slowly as you watch the butterflies fly past you.
