Every little aspect of your life is connected with it. But what if this whole and sole of your life gets stolen? And the worst thing is you don’t even know who could have. A similar case happened in Mumbai’s Malad area, where a Swiggy delivery boy stole a lady’s mobile phone. Here are the details of this theft incident that happened in Mumbai.
Swiggy Delivery Boy Stole A Mobile
A woman named Aparna Vinayan posted a video, precisely CCTV footage, on Twitter. The tweet was captioned stating that a Swiggy delivery person had stolen her mobile. It further revealed that the delivery boy’s name was Jayram Yegde, and he was caught on camera stealing the phone around 6:45 pm. This incident took place in Malad’s Ashok Enclave apartment. Moreover, she has tagged both Swiggy and SwiggyCares Twitter accounts.

The CCTV footage shows the woman opening the door and entering. You can see that she forgot her phone outside her home. Then, a Swiggy delivery person comes and delivers the order. But while returning, he takes notice of the mobile and slides it off the rack. This entire incident was caught on camera.
Mumbai Police Was Quick To Respond
Mumbai Police replied to the tweet saying to report this incident to the nearby police station. Also, they assured her that possible actions will be taken against this theft. The company has also replied saying that this matter is concerning and to DM them the order ID and details so they can highlight the issue.
Though this is a concerning matter, Twitter users are blaming the woman. There are comments stating that it was her fault to leave her mobile phone outside carelessly.
